My mission is to give solutions to problems, to get the dirty work off the hands of authors and businesses so they can achieve their full potential.
How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Ideas didn’t come in one go, they came in tiny bits. But with my business as it is now, I’d say that my days as a teen were the pivotal moments that eventually led me to doing what I do now, even discovering more as I go along. Books, website design, the internet – they’re all my points of interest.
I will never know during those early days that this is all going to be big, a major source of my income. I was just enjoying the internet, making logo designs in various websites and forums. And then I won a contest on website design. Starting from having this skill and the passion for business, my products grew into what they are now: Publishing Addict (publishingaddict.com)
What is your mission?
My mission is to give solutions to problems, to get the dirty work off the hands of authors and businesses so they can achieve their full potential while our team at Publishing Addict delivers topnotch performance tackling their websites. It’s like making the world a better place, one author website at a time. Sounds amusing but it’s true. We’re dominated by the world wide web now and no thriving author or business that exists today doesn’t have a website which is an online representation of their brand.
What has been your greatest achievement so far?
The business definitely and everything it has done for many top authors and businesses. It’s not my achievement alone. It’s my team’s. I wouldn’t be able to make it this far without great people who are not only my colleagues but my real, good friends.
What’s your best advice for other tech entrepreneurs who are starting a business?
Have a customer-centric mindset. Build your service or product according to what your target users need and not just what you think is fancy. From having this in mind, you’ll be able to create a business structure with a mission to provide solutions to problems or barriers that users are facing. And while doing a great job at this, have beer and tacos in between. It’s good to have fun while doing your business!
