When you often travel for vacation or business, it can be a headache to endure long flights without sleep. I remember the days that I had those flights and could not fall asleep because my neck and head wasn’t supported.
You packed your luggage and can’t wait to get to your dream destination. For days you have been looking forward to it. Or you belong to the group of frequent travelers and often fly for business but get tired from flying so often. Well, we can all agree there is nothing worse than arriving tired at the place of destination. So how do you endure a long flight?
As a frequent traveler myself, I have to say a comfortable flight is essential, I usually bring my earplugs, eye mask and travel pillow. Although these pillows are not always comfortable, I didn’t know there was anything better on the market. When you often travel for vacation or business, it can be a headache to endure long flights without sleep. I remember the days that I had those flights and could not fall asleep because my neck and head wasn’t supported. I watched movies, listen to music or play a game but it’s not something you can do for hours, and you get bored and tired of it.
I can only conclude that traveling comfortable will make you feel so much more rested when you arrive at the destination. Your jet lag just becomes worse if you can’t rest properly. Sometimes you just need a day or two resting from a long flight. But finally, there is a solution for it: My Lofty Pillow designed by frequent travelers had the same problem. They were able to design a travel pillow that is actually comfortable and supports your head, neck, face and chin. Ideal for frequent travelers! This pillow also prevents your head rolling on the side or forward. I was excited to interview Aaron Cruz, the founder of this fantastic product and to discuss with him the key to his success and how he came about developing My Lofty Pillow.

How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Once I started working as an Inspector and Site Supervisor for a major solar energy company, I began to travel extensively for business too. Between the meetings, site assessments, and week-long business trips and my personal travels in the past, I’ve visited 42 states in the U.S. and 46 countries around the world. Now that’s a lot of flights.
Throughout all these trips, I bought travel pillows. A lot of travel pillows. One day while packing for a trip to Argentina, I laid out all the travel pillows I’d bought throughout the years to pick the most comfortable one for my trip – and realized that none of them were good enough! Some made me sweat a lot, some were too bulky, some were just plain uncomfortable, and a couple caused pain in my back or neck.
I knew I could do better, so I set out to make my own travel pillow – one that is compact, comfortable, and affordable – and up to my very high standards. Five versions later, I’m excited to share this travel pillow with you, so you can get to your business or travel destination well rested and ready to go.
There are many pillows for the travelers on the market, how is yours different? Why is that better? Multi areas of benefits;
- Comfort your head, neck and adjustable chin size, thwart your head to roll sideway, forward, after long fly is important to get there rested, without pain
- Practical, easy to carry, use minimum space on your carry-on luggage, self-fold, washable, hygienic; not skin contact with seat material, large travel accessories storage
- Inexpensive, less than other travel pillows with less benefits
None of the travel pillows on the market offers this much of benefits at this price that fits on your hand
Do you consider yourself a serial entrepreneur?
Yes, from go-ahead travel throughout the world to self-motivated to learn and start an electrical company/solar PV and now a and not just have an idea but make it a tangible product those actions make me fill a living in my dream
